Sharing of Testimony
Good evening to everyone, I will like to share my testimony and experiences for the past 3 months, that God have always been with me throughout all the battles that I have to go through.
All of you may not know this. But I was jobless on the very first session with the Adult Cell Group. In fact that was the last day with that company (I was quite envy with you guys having terrific careers when we did self introduction). I was going through stress with the last job and was not doing well. Out frustration and grief I left that company.
From then until now, there was a lot of things happened and I believe that God have been blessing me throughout.
Before I get into TA Asia Logistics Pte Ltd (which is my current company), I went through a lot of interviews. Frankly speaking, a person like me who do not like uncertainties with take job hunting as a very tedious task. Maybe it is expectations that I had set, the number of interviews was much higher than previously gone through. To the extent I am quite fedup and post up on my blog saying whether I can stop all these interviews and get a new job. Things just happened from there. After I logged off from my blog, my supervisor from this company called me for interview. And after the interview, I was immediately selected. The reason why the manager selected me… Because I am a musician and that he find me special and similar to what he have gone through when he was young (For your information he was once a concert master of SYO). He want to groom me up and see how far I can excel. He knows about my setback in previous company and decided to give me a crash course with all the task in this company (I don’t find myself special than other people, and on the market I feel that I am just a average worker).
One week after I came into this company, I was given a major project. It was an offshore marine crane shipment. This is also my first handling project cargo which I have to deal to Flat Rack and Open Top Container, Lashing and several stuffs that I am not familiar with. After that, next projects was 7 containers of steel pipes for stuffing, which I must be at site coordinating the stuffings with my fellow colleagues working under the sun. And one more was ISO tanks shipment for Petroluem out from Singapore to Phiiippines. All these first times gone through with a lot of people God planted around to guide me through.
Moving on from there, I also handled coordination and issuance of containers for all the ports that my NVOCC section is dealing with and single handedly running the customer service section with my senior have the ease of mind dealing with her Forwarding portion. I have to thank God that whenever trouble stuck, things have always been resolved in a positive note.
My Trade Manager and Assistant operation manager must be God planted. I have never come across someone who is so willing to teach me so much things. They also gave me the opportunities to know people and customers face to face during drinking session organised by Trade Manager (and Thank God I didn’t get drunk and make a fool of myself during these sessions and build connections with these people).
Here is the interesting part. Yesterday I asked into meeting room by my manager. He talked to me with regard with my confirmation. And with that I will be getting a 10% increment from my current salary. Not only that, I will be advanced to become a Sales Executive under mentorship of my sales manager who is someone that have given me a lot of encouragement and with that another increment. They are also planning to set aside the company vehicle for me during the office hours to facilitate my work which a lot of company will not do. All expenses with the vehicle claimable from my company.
On the whole I can say that it is like a dream. Frankly I think I am only person that have advanced so fast in the company. Yes I maybe hardworking, I can be diligent, but I believe without God presence and blessing to me, nothing would have been possible. I thank God for providing me great friends, allowing me to continue making good music and now great working environment that I growing with.

Time now is 2000hrs.
I am at home for the whole weekend. Wanted to go back to work actually but decided not to do that because my back hurt very badly. Don't know what happened but I couldn't sit straight without feeling a strain on the rear right side of my back.
Been resting alot. Reading at home. Surfing the net. Wondering about my report that is due on Monday. After thinking about it, I decided not to reveal everything that I am thinking. Maybe just reveal one fifth of it will do. Reason being I don't think that the managers will react positively. Anyway I still have another two more weeks to think whether I want to stay put with this company.
I really don't know how things will work out the next two weeks.
But let see how it goes.
